Can I or can I not place NYSE orders with IB prior to the opening; regarding my previous post?

FYI: I received an email from IB that said that in fact the servers are online for the demo workstation weekends and nights.
So out of my original list the items left are the "cancel all" hotkey and a "cleanscreen" or "compact mode" feature to get rid of everything but the quote windows on the TWS.

Top Ten List (bugs first)
1. bug: Position, P&L, AccountWindow somtimes take 30+ seconds to update, plus P&L will be wrong until the update.
2. bug: Order getting filled causes row focus to be lost.
3. The user should be able to enter a ticker by simply typing it in!!!!
4. Need contract defaults for instrument and route(s). (Related to #3)
5. ClosePosition Mouse Action. Clicking on Position cell on a contract row should create an order to liquidate the position. [Build 750 added Order-> Close Position. Build 752 added Hotkey ClosePosition. ]
6. Option to turn off the toolbar by default. [Workaround is to drag it off each time you run JTWS. However, it still leaves a blank space.]
Many people find the Toolbar completely useless and want to turn it off to save screen real estate. Maybe if the toolbar were configurable, more people would use it.
7. Use some visual cue to indicate if stocks can be borrowed. Perhaps color the symbol.
8. Option to not autosort orders by price. It is a real pain - when an order is transmitted and then moves, it is no longer selected. If you want to modify it, you have to select it again.
9. Need HotKeys for CancelPage / CancelAll. The confirmation dialog should not be displayed! You shouldn't need to have RowFocus for the CancelPage HotKey to work.
10. The Cancel button 'C' should be displayed on an order line even if it hasn't been transmitted yet.

actually.. i dont want to turn the toolbar off.. i use it.. i just dont want it to take up my entire screen.. they could chop about 2/3 of it off or go back to the old one.. i mean, what the heck were the programmers thinking? (smoking).. MS Office doesnt have big ass icons on its tool bar.. AOL doesnt have big ass icons on its tool bar.. even my quote provider doesnt have big ass icons on its tool bar.. and here we have tws with these HUGE icons for the visually impaired.. whats next? braille?!!

You can type in something like rqjcv#amex. (It'd be nice if you could enter symbol#best, too, but it currently doesn't allow that.)

There's another nasty bug that goes along with this one. When multiple order lines are created from the same market data line then those orders are resorted in descending order of their limit price whenever one of them is transmitted. This not only leads to confusion due to them jumping around on screen but also causes the transmitted order to lose row focus thus disabling further hotkey manipulation of that order. The row focus remains at the old screen position and subsequent use of hotkeys does not change the order that was moved to that screen position due to the sorting but instead enters the corresponding keyboard characters into the limit price field (this may be page layout dependent). At least it's not possible to inadvertently change and transmit the wrong order this way when operating blindly. However, TWS can lock up for several seconds or even completely when this happens.
