Why is there no data for the following symbols?

** AD-NYSE
** VOL-NYSE

Please Help.

Hi ozzy
that stuff is available by openning a market scanner page and selecting "market statistics" in the right hand column.
This is the only way to get this from IB
Advancers and decliners are only presented separately...hope this helps

I can't figure out how to get a quote on the Crude Oil index - CL. Anyone have any luck with this?

Do you mean QM (current contract is September).

I'm able to get the futures quote for crude - QM, but not the index quote - CL.

I'm not sure what you're looking for. CL is the NYMEX pit-traded futures contract, for which QM is the e-mini contract. There is no "index" involved - it's a physical commodity (oil).

For some reason, there are a number of tickers in IB's database (like CL) that don't produce any data. It's possible that they once did, and were never removed.

You can get free crude quotes from the IPE, sign up for IPE in account management and then enter symbol COIL and select future.
