ok just found out it's my computer....

i was able to log in un-checking the "use SSL" option on the log-in window....
I had the same problem with one account this morning. I had tried logging in last night and didn't succeed. This morning I again couldn't log in.
I reinstalled TWS and was able to log in after that.
I know of at least two others who had identical experiences.
FWIW: logging into the same account on a different system worked just fine, so i suspect that the failed login last night somehow left TWS in a locked state.
