This may have been asked a million times before and searching through IB's site and here is just making my head spin. I have a simple question:
I have an Excel sheet with stock symbols on it and I want to pull in the last price dynamically. I can't get it to do this.
Cell A1 has ticker AAPL
Cell B1 should pull in AAPL's last price
I understand the basic syntax for DDE at IB, but can't see where the ticket symbol goes in and how that is tied to the request.
=server|topic!id?reqType?field2
Please help.
