Ib Data Feed / Tick Charts

LOBSTER. Thanks for the reply. what size tick charts are "sort of good"? Trading is hard enough without using data that is not so good. thanks
 
Larry, IB would not be the best datafeed to use for tick charts since IB does NOT provide every tick. There is a frequency cap on the datafeed. Thats fine for regular candlestick or OHLC charts, but TICK charts depend on seeing all the ticks.

well,,,,,,it has been 2 years since i last asked....anyone figure out some ratio formula to create some type of" tick" charts using the IB data feed??? thanks
