can any longtime and frequent users of IB comment on how often this system has gone down in the past per year on average?

did they just upgrade tws, couldn't they do that afterhours - or was that part of bringing it back up?

I would say a good average annual outage for IB is 8-12 times per year.

the IB data feeds started cutting out for me today dec 19 @ 12:45~ . iv been noticing this problem has been happening on an increasing rate. I hope IB fixes these issues.
