IB data feed good enough?

Just wondering if most of you have 3rd party data feed or use IB?

No, ... no third party feed here. Never have during the three years ive been with IB. No data fees for me. Most of my work is with index futs -- scalping or scalping a position and sometimes
a few stks. I use ZLT to trade. Hooks up to IB's feed just fine and
very fast...my latency is abt 72 ms. from SW of Houston.
Also use QuoteTracker with this feed--works great.

IB's high frequency sampled data feed is fine for most retail traders. Traders that need a true tick feed have to go 3rd party.

good unless u need ticks cuz of the sampled data, it wont even back fill tick data of its own ticks
