in OTC market, that is possible when the quotes don't wanna trade with the counterparties
Maybe somebody wants out really badly?
Yeah, seems like OTC listed bonds don't have a routing system.
Weird/interesting stuff.
I don't trade bonds at all, so not sure exactly if it is a counterparty-issue, but have seen such quotes a few times in the inter-broker fx forwards market as some banks don't want additional counterparty exposures
Could it be that the Ask side is not interested in the small size on the Bid side (e.g. an "all or nothing" order)?
