I have been using IB for about 6 months now. I trade combo orders (Butterflies, time spreads, vertical spreads) mostly.
I haven't been able to do GTC orders with these combo orders. I remember I called and spoke with one rep who told me that DAY orders are the way they handle these combo orders.
From reading other forums, I know TOS and OX allow GTC for combo orders.
Did I miss the functionality somewhere (haven't read thru IB whole site and user manual yet) or this is the way IB handles? How do other traders handle these during vacation?
