Charts of SPY, TLT Spontaneously Refresh w/ Erroneous Spike, Compressing All Other Data

These charts effectively unusable

happened 1-2 times a month the past few months, during big moves in SPY

after the spontaneous spike, the refresh icon is dimmed, so cannot refresh/correct until several seconds later, when button usability restores

restart did not make issue go away previous times this issue​


Have opened ticket w/ IB, this morning ~9h30 CST

IB says issue is escalated, spt person thinks server issue.

10h50 CST: Issue has stopped, have emphasized w/ IB support that the basic problem is not resolved -- will monitor the ticket and relay here anything of interest.

Seems to occur at begin of large gap days, and continue until late morn, and then go away.
 
09h03 CST 19 JUN -- 2ND consecutive day for this issue, today in low vol of fed day morning

IB no status detail other than problem escalated
 
Issue continued 3rd day in a row on 20 JUN.
Have not seen it since, but have not been looking at SPY intraday much in 21 & 24 JUN.
Not particularly confident it won't repeat.
