IB charts and moving price bars to right

What setting am I not seeing to move the price bars to have the current bar at the far right of the chart? Currently 2 charts have this and the rest of my charts have a gap, some large, between the right border and the current bar. I would like more bars showing without shrinking the spacing or bar width on these charts, and the space is available, but how do I move them over?

The default is to give the maximum number of available candles, so if it's not filled in, either your graph is a "today" graph (it must fill in from the left), or YOU have moved it forwards in time. If you've moved it forwards in time, you have done so via the whole-window sliders {bottom right} or by "adding space" or "subtracting space" buttons on top{left-ish}.

Fiddle with these, and with the circular-arrows "reset-recycle" buttons.

We all love IB, right? Even as we curse (for example) the graphics.
If you're thinking "This is cludgy!" You're correct.

Go for it.

I see what you are saying and tried it, but still have the gap on the right. It's not a huge deal, but annoying as I would like to have bars filling the space. I have looked through the settings on the charts where they do go all the way to the right and see no different settings, so I guess this is a mystery. I may try chat, but I think I did this a year or two ago and didn't get it figured out.
Thanks for the try

Throw up a .png {File}{Save}{Chart Image} and we'll see if there's anything "D'oh!" obvious.
I mean, I love TWS, but hey, this *is* TWS.......

Just decided to give TWS charts a try after using ninja for a long time.

The charts have annoying yellow triangles indicating IB commentary being posted. Any way to get rid of these?

I agree with tom above, you must have the "today" box checked. I had the same issue.

It's either news or trades -- either one can be controlled by going to chart parameters
The little button on top with the four red dots in a diamond.

Yeah, turn off "News" in Chart Parameters.

Then set the timeframe to a bar-interval.
The fixed/fractional time intervals "Today/5 Min" will show the empty space but the previous won't.

Hey thanks much guys. That did the trick.

Another one if you don't mind. Is there a way to change the color of all the bars in a chart, ie not just one individual bar? I don't like the orange color for down bars and wanted to make it red.

I have to say that the IB charting surprised me. I had fooled around with it years ago and it was basically not very good. Now it is very useable. It seem rock solid stable. I like ninja but there were issues with getting charts to display properly at times. Having to maintain the list of symbols was also a minor pain in the neck.
