IB - Booktrader 906 no more single click!

I just quick-tested it on 911.3 and seems to work fine here.
Can you post a couple of screen shot of the window that opens up..that's really weird..lol. All my app does is clicking on the transmit button, I have no idea why that window opens up.


edit: I think I got what's going on, you probably have "jump to order" checked in Booktrader configuration or some weird thing like that? :D

Best thing you can do is to click on "configure" in the menu of booktrader and post a screen shot, so we can see what's your config

Ok, I did some more testing. There seems to be some sort of anomaly depending on what settings are turned on. For example, turning off "Display Toolbar" fixes the issue I described, but only if "Quote Panel" is turned on and "expanded" on booktrader.

It seems that expanding/minimizing certain things on the upper area of booktrader (such as buttons, quote panel, toolbar) can perhaps change the location of the confirm dialog?

Sometimes the TWS "help" dialog comes up, sometimes the "open order ticket" dialog comes up, again, it seems to depend on the buttons or quote panel bars at the top, and whether they are expanded or not.

The app is "designed" so that it doesn't really matter if the location of the confirm dialog changes, because the coordinates of the mouse movement and click are relative to that window, so if it opens in some weird position, the mouse will always find the exact coordinates of the transmit button. The only problem is if the size of the dialog window changes messing with the relative coordinates. do you see any difference in the size of the confirmation window?
I think but I'm not sure that the windows you see depend on your tws configuration. I'm not able to recreate your problem. Again screenshots of your configuration may help to find your problem

I tried to recreate your configuration and even the same size and panels of your booktrader window

I believe I figured it out. Looking at your video, it seems like your booktrader is bit wider than mine. I increased the width on mine by about 10 pixels or so and that seems to have done the trick. At least in my configuration. Could the autohotkey be sensitive to horizontal position of the confirm dialog?

Darn it, I forgot I keep my browser zoomed at 120%, that's why mine is sized a bit wider... I'm officially an idiot ..lol

Yup, I can def. recreate your problem now, I 'll see what's going on here... tomorrow though..i really gotta go before someone kills me with a purse :D

edit: nope I can't recreate your problem... i simply forgot to run my app. before trying... proof of idiocy N. 2,ouch.
weeeeeeell, keep that window a bit larger and you are good to go..heh ;)

Not a problem Mark1. Take your time. I just left my DOM a little wider and that's fine. I'm glad we got to the bottom of this one (so I hope).

Not being technical, i really don't have the chops to feel my way thru these work arounds (if the 'for dummies' version comes out, be sure to PM me! lol).

i would estimate that in 2 days of being forced to endure this forced 'upgrade' it has cost me well over $1,000 and, more likely, 2-3x that. if you count me going on tilt after missing executions, it's a 5 digit number. the markets i trade cannot be traded with mkt orders, and my limits miss with the 4 or so second delay. chasing is another 4 seconds and on and on.

so... recommendations for an alternative. seems zero line and bracket trader haven't been updated for nearly a year (still even in business?) and think i read somewhere that button trader in subject to the same process now. so... since i am stuck with ib, what front end would people recommend?
