[IB Beginner] To make a alarm when my entry signal is met?

Dear-

As a beginner, I wonder if one can setup IB so that some designated sound is ringed as soon as some entry criteria is met.

For example,

A) When DJI is down 2% during the day, hope to hear a sound "DowJones is down 2%"
B) When MSFT is down 3%, tell me "MSFT is in entry situation"

Probably, if IB does NOT do (cannot) that, then other brokers cannot do it too.

One can trade during the day systematically depending on the signal, but cannot see the screen all times. Personally near the computer and internet all day, but cannot watch the IB screen.

Click on 'Alerts' at the top of the TWS window. Yes, you can select price, percentage change, etc., and assign an audio file to play with the alert. Or, you can access the alert function by pulling up a chart of the instrument you want to track.
