I don't know. Even the ISE requires it, so I don't see why the BOX will not require it as well.

Of course not. I believe IB has filed many protests to the SEC about this very issue. If IB has no impact on the SEC and options exchanges, then certainly you won't do diddly.
 
Could there be a way to programatically click the OK button on the confirmation popup? Or maybe trap the window and call the function that submits Ok to the API?

IBSoft,

I have my TWS set up with several symbols per tab. Two of the tabs are API and Pending. As you are aware, those tabs are added by TWS automatically.

When I do a reqmarketdata, for some reason the data line shows up in the Pending tab. I also send in an order whose line gets put in the Pending Tab. Once my order is filled, the order line goes away from the Pending tab, as it should, but it also seems to take the reqmktdata with it.

Is there a way to send the data request to a particular tab so that the symbol continues to display? Even the API tab would be OK I think. Just as long as the data line does not go away.
