T Tums Oct 4, 2008 #1 Why does IB install its API on c:\jts ? Why don't they save it under c:\program files ?
S sam028 Oct 4, 2008 #2 Maybe because it's easier to write c:\Jts on a Linux box, instead of a directory name with whitespaces. Or maybe because TWS was created 15 years ago, where the max size of a directory name was 11 chars .
