IB API disables TWS UI?

Wish I had found this thread earlier, reinstalled Java and tried multiple versions of TWS. Glad I'm not going crazy like I thought I was.

Bad here too. Locks up the newest TWS (standalone) and my TWS from last year. Sucks.

Cummon IB. We luv ya, but you have to fix serious shit like this FAST.

Still not working from Australia. Just tried 3 times (different ways).

Once the api is called its locked up dead.

Just to confirm, that I'm seeing the same problem. I'm on standalone TWS, the same release that worked well all day

oops.. just checked on standalone 875.3 and 878.6 on 1.5.11 java and good old 8.6 API-same problem...typical for IB to do something like that...as i said before- there no QA dept...

Today before coming to this thread I tried the latest version available and their downgrade version. All with the current release of Java.
