IB and scalping

You can set up your hot keys or mouse to send in an order on 1 click. (although adding a second key for xmit is a nice safety factor and doesn't take any significant amount of time to send).

you can also go from line to line via mouse click on bid/offer or up/down arrow key. Like any new system, the more you use it, the better and easier it becomes.

I notice that when I cancel an existing order, it takes
about 5+ seconds for that order to go away from
the screen.

Is there any way to do this faster ?

I've set up <Space Bar> as hotkey to clean up filled / cancelled orders. That way, you can clean up fast if you want but if not, they 'll stay up for around xxx seconds (You can set your time)

Def, have you heard anything about the stop-limits within the bracket orders ?

Thanks,

larry you might try reading the doc.helps in learning to use the software.
What/where is this? I've printed the entire TWS user's guide. Are you talking about something else? Thanks!

I don't see the option that Def pointed out in Configure->Order

I see:

- Order Defaults
- Stop Trigger Method
- Percent
--------------------------
o Big Scale Prices
o Big Scale Sizes
---------------------------
o Auto-Remove Orders
o Auto-Sort Submitted Orders

Obviously, I am missing something :-) Anyone care to help ?
