IB and daytrading ?

Hello,
is there a way to integrate IB with a real-time, day trading datafeed such as Qchart ?

I'm looking to use IB to place orders, but not from the tws, but rather from an order plateform integrated into a data vendor.

How do "hardcore" daytraders are using IB ? I doubt they switch from the TWS to their charting software ?!
