IB and Crypto

Bitcoin and Etheroum are the biggest now. For 1 % move there are the others moving 20 %.
On IB you can trade some 21Shares ETP tracking other Crypto. Have a look if you like.

At the moment you can do an ACATS cash transfer to tastyworks or tradestation crypto if you want to trade other coins.

The truth is that i would like to trade on IB at least the 20 something biggest Crypto.
It is difficult to trust all these new Brokers /Exchange or what they are.
I know "You know it all" but if is not too much for you, make some math and see how much delta you need on CL or ES to get these results.
Have a nice day.

Definitely, I just meant that this doesn’t make IB outdated, but simply being a stock broker vs crypto broker. Some people keep the money at multiple brokers, funds, real estate, gold, cash, etc.
(though IB could use a facelift unrelated to crypto)

To OP, Trading crypto will NOT make you more money if you do not consistantly make money in stock/futures/options or whatever IBKR provides.

The money to be make in crypto is one of two things, HODLing on coins you believe, always DCA in them (such as BTC, ETH, or ADA, etc); Defi yield farming.

As for the platform, out of dozens, the last one I would recommend is Binance, google you will know why. Kucoin and coinbase are much more trustworthy. JMO. Do more research if you plan to deposit a large chunk of your networth into Binance. I would not have the same reservation against IBKR though.

I will not give my money to this guy for now, but sure he is smarter then all of us.
Like you, he suggest DCA. but i am older and i see in this words the biggest reason for not put money just on time basis on any of these projects.
Only price going up will be the sign of something going well. And yes, there will be times when i will buy the last top.
And "consistantly make money" ... you are young, good for you, enjoy these days.

It's already September... the last month of the Summer.

Waiting now for an official notice of "- things are delayed... to a future date" now.

Kinda like how, TastyWorks has been coming to Canada "next quarter" for a few years now... keeps getting pushed back another quarter :P

It's available under btc@paxos, but only for US residents at IBLLC.
