IB and Charts

You are right. It´s an ´execution only´ platform.
But you can use their quotes as datafeed for SC and QT.

Can you use SC and QT for futures too or is it just for stocks. I was playing with SC but could not figure out how to change the parameters of the indicators. For example if I want MACD to be 5, 20, 10 instead of 12, 26, 9, how do I do it?
 
I just down graded my Qcharts to live charts from the Q intermediate because I am using only sierra now for futures. I really like sierra but it took me a while to get used to the settings etc. My only complaint is that you must have IB running to get chart data and once in while I have those days that I loose connection to IB and then have gaps in my chart data. Sierra is really slick if you mostly trade the same group of stocks or futures all the time. Its a bit tough to collect data for a ton of stocks. Happy trading all
