IB and any other broker going to list first China A share stock index future?

Is IB going to list china a50 tomorrow? If not tomorrow, has IB decided any specific date to list this one? And what will be the symbol?

XINA50 will be the symbol. if all goes well it will be available for trading tomorrow.
 
Hi Def,

it seems that this index is the futures version of the ishares A50 index of the hong kong exchange (symbol: 2823). Is that correct?

It seems that most of the components of the index are Hong Kong listed (eg. Bank of China, Jangxi Copper), Does the fund hold Hong Kong listed shares or there are some that are exclusively listed in Shanghai and Shenzhen (which foreigners cant participate in)?

It is the same ETF but the index is based upon the shares that trade exclusively in Shanghai and Shenzen.
 
Hope the liquidity is tradable , China is desperately attacking the legitimacy of this SGX contract.

China will launch its own A-share stock index futures ontract end of this year or beginning of next year.

I'm not sure how desperate they are attacking this contract considering a Chinese minister will be at the official launch tomorrow. Only time will tell. For starters China will relax some of the QFII restrictions on foreign investment in order to attract additional foreign capital into their own futures market.
