I was just trying to add some canadian warrant tickers to my watch list in IB and got the error message:
"The security is not available or allowed for this account. If this security should be available, please contact customer service."
I am able to purchase Candian stocks just fine, and I have the TSE/TSX data feeds. Interestingly I can get a WT.A ticker to show up on the data feed although I have not tried to purchase it.
Are US customers allowed to purchase Canadian warrants? I looked on the IB page and it just mentioned no Candian options.
