IB alarms

I wish I could do that but I'm back home now and using my own machine without problems.

However, knowing that I would be using a different machine during Christmas travels I burned a copy of my TWS build 783.0 and Java version SE v.1.4.0_01 and took it with me and installed it on the offending XP machine. The video card was an ENY ??? 64mb. No Idea about sound card.
 
I don't use alarms much any more, but I used to get hung a lot when I was in the middle of navigating through an "insert ticker" menu (specifically, choosing option series from the popup) when an alarm got triggered. This is on NT.
