IB account balance problems

Don’t have a hart attack when you look at your IB account balance today. I had a profitable morning but when I checked my account balance it was short over $13,000. I called IB and after the recording saying that all systems were operating normally, I got a real person who immediately told me that they were having a problem with everybody’s account and that it will be fixed in a couple of hours.
 
No problem in my account. But I'm waiting for the day that such a problem causes their system to detect insufficient margin and they automatically liquidate positions.
 
They had it fixed within an hour from when I caught the error but the problem must have been widespread because they didn't even ask for my account number when I told them of the problem.
