I wonder how long before a 7 day turnaround rule

ie: you buy stock and you cannot sell for 7 days.

Not a chance. So, you watch it get annihilated for 7 days as previous buyers sell. Might as well shut down Wall Street.

We need rules that really don't do anything but will keep the people that want rules happy.. how about, you can't transact the stock for seven days except with a bracket order placed at the time of sale... make the language really obscure so the controlling people will think it's a big deal... we can all get on ET and howl about the new rule and how it's hurting us...
