I Wish Paulson Would Drop Dead

Quote from clacy:

Yes, but you have to consider the alternative. Most likely, in my opinion, Bush was the lesser of two evils. I really can't imagine Gore as President. Kerry maybe, but Gore would be off in fantasy land talking about global warming every second of every day.

If you look throughout history you will find that the best combination for Washington DC is a do nothing President and a gridlocked House and Senate.

The country runs the smoothest and has the least amount of problems when "everyone's doing nut 'n."

Quote from Ivanovich:

Heh...gold down almost 60$ (or is it over 60?) oil is down $5...and the Euro is still over 1.56

I do believe the smart ones who have been long and right commodities would be selling and even shorting most now.

IMHO.

Quote from Pa(b)st Prime:

Treasonous, lying traitor. An ugly stuttering pig. With Gold, crude and other commodities dropping out of bed along with equity strength it's apparent that the Treasury is not only refusing to intervene-I strongly suspect they're selling dollars.

IMHO there's little chance that short covering alone could keep EUR higher on the session with Gold fifty dollars lower.

The administration has the gall to say they don't intervene because of their undying respect for free markets. LMAO. The same guy's with coordinated easing on options expiration mornings, on Sunday nights, manufactured WMD's.....

P.S.I voted for Bush twice. Given the choices I'd do it again. Shows what a mess this country is in.

if you'd do it again, then instead of this being a complaint thread, isn't this an admiration thread?

isn't that what we are living in now?

complete collapse of the structured mortgage markets?

Nafta'd jobs offshore and tax breaks to those disloyal companies, to boot...

so, so many other seemingly impossible to imagine realities,

that something about our times are just easier to understand using the term: "fantasy land..."
