I Wish Paulson Would Drop Dead

Quote from gnome:
Those who are not fans of South Park don't know what they're missing. Lots of social and political commentary "out of the mouth of 4th graders"....

South Park is waaaayyy more pithy than just an animated cartoon series. Best part about it... no topic, no thing nor nobody is sacred nor "off limits"...
Sweeeeettt.... :D

It's quite different from Family Guy. I am a huge fan of both, but there is somewhat of general schism between the two shows, mainly in that Family Guy is perceived to superficially jump from one random social reference to another without any logical segue, and that South Park gets many of it's laughs, especially early in the show's running, from simply being crude. Both criticisms are unfounded, and there have not existed more clever shows on television ever. I also enjoy Futurama, although it is entirely just for fun. And I like the office... and that's it.... i swear to it!

Quote from Thunderdog:

How does it compare to Family Guy? I actually laugh out loud during that show.

Quote from brocklanders:

Yeah, dead is probably a little too strong, but he is very high on my list of current scoundrels who need to go. His meddling in the BSC debacle was alarming, especially since he is personal friends with most of the Wall St CEOs that were calling him on Saturday to do something. Someone posted earlier about him selling Ft Knox gold?? I couldn't find a link though so I don't know if that is true or not. Hank "We have a Strong Dollar Policy" Paulson needs to go.

They will all be gone in less than a year. It's almost over.

I hope Clinton nor McCain get in their that will just be more of the status quo.

"Unfortunately, this idiotic "Operation Iraqi Freedom" has cost taxpayers about $16,000 each since this "operation" was started 5 years ago to this day.

We also face a $410 million dollar budget deficit because this Administration's use of the "vetoe" is non-existent.

That "strong" dollar policy that Bush and Paulson keep talking about sure has been working real well too!"

I keep explaining this to all the idiots who dont get it. Until the bond market craters because there are no more buyers its not an issue. Its the rest of the world that is addicted to this system. There fighting the war in iraq and building our 13 aircraft carriers. Food for thought for anyone who thinks the US is losing power. If anything were getting even more powerful. No nation has ever tricked the entire globe into financing its empire.

Sorry, what does that mean? Ron Paul???

Quote from Pa(b)st Prime:

Agree bro. I'm a Taft/Buchanan/Paul Republican. Outside of the trading community ain't many of us left.

Understood.

Tiger Woods says his favorite program is South Park and his favorite character is Cartman.... Yo, Baby!

Oh yeah, Obama is SOOOOO freakin' completely different! The only candidates who had distinguishable policy from the rest were Paul, Edwards, and Huckleberry, none of whom were able to garner much support. The only change choice left is Independent... Nader and whoever else puts their name on the ballot.
