I wired money to AMP yesterday

Same result but saved you a lot of time and head aches, unless you've got the patience / lack of brains / extra funds to stick at if for 10+ years like most of us here.
I should have about $3500 at AMP and I figured if I go down to $3000 I quit futures all together.

ACH is not available with AMP Futures, unfortunately! I have sent $1850.

P.S. I am looking at this as a bad omen for my Futures trading escapade. It is harder than I thought!

Only to get funds out! Not to get them in...

Do you really think an anonymous poster on ET can correct YOUR issue? Maybe the Nigerian consulate should get involved. In addition to supporting ACH in and out, AMP has 24/5 support.

You are correct however... futures trading will be very difficult for you.

even es micros are not small enough for a 2k account.

not sure how old you are but your best bet is to work your ass off and quickly save 25k, daytrade spy instead.

and trade 10 or 20 share size.

Yes, but my bank (a credit union) cannot initiate ACH. Most brokers have the setup to do it in/out AMP only gives you the numbers to use. Real banks can do it.

I have plenty of money. Over $120,000 at Schwab and Ameritrade. $3500 is plenty for micro e-minis. (It is only play-money for me.)
P.S. Why assume that I am like the average ET poster; broke, wiseass.
P.P.S. I cannot short in my IRA, I trade inverse ETFs and options on them.

Initiating an ACH transfer has absolutely nothing with being a credit union or a bank. I have used credit unions exclusively for over 20 years, both for business (includes trading) and personal accounts. It is your credit union that has limited features/capabilities for initiating ACH.

It is true though, AMP will not initiate a pull-type transaction from an external account.
