It is to a Chicago bank from California. What does the snail mail have to do with bank wire?

Then it should be transferred within minutes.

ACH is not available with AMP Futures, unfortunately! I have sent $1850.

P.S. I am looking at this as a bad omen for my Futures trading escapade. It is harder than I thought!

Did you get the "for further credit" part right?
my experience with amp is that it usually takes anywhere from 2 hours to half a day.

Same result but saved you a lot of time and head aches, unless you've got the patience / lack of brains / extra funds to stick at if for 10+ years like most of us here.

Thats why i love ach with brokers like td ameritrade, money in and out instantaneous, no fees, no trip to the bank.

fcm's are limited though because of segregated funds.

of course that didn't help mf global! lol.

i think the problem is with the banks, with my bank you cant do ach unless you have a
business account or some shit like that..
