I will NEVER! Use Esignal Again!

Quote from JMowery1987:

Yeah, screw eSignal, there is better out there. Good luck with the switch, DTN is good, I like their ProphetX.

Time to show eSignal that they can't screw their customers much longer, we are getting restless  .

ESIGNAL STOP SCREWING YOUR CUSTOMERS!!!
If you need to blame eSignal for your losses its time to apply to McDonalds for that sales counter position

Wow, logic is a rare commodity. Below are the reasons your argument is falacious.

1. Internet provider wouldn't be liable for anything because I dont pay them to solely give me market data. Esignal charges me for one thing, market data. That is as follish as you buying 4 new tires, drive off the lot and the all go flat....you wouldn't go to the car manufacturer, but you would sure as heck go back and get a refund from the tire company.

2. My backup data doesn't know they are backup, again I pay them for market data so that point is immaterial.

3. If I'm watching a movie on cable and the NBC studios in NY go out I can't ask my cable company for a refund, but if my cable goes out for 3 days I would ask them for one.

Pls make arguments that are analagous to original point. Arguments out of proportion are just annoying.

Can someone explain to me why i NEVER have these problems with Esignal?

I live in Europe and trade the ES. I have a realtime connection 24 hours a day for over 10 years now ( first satelite dish and afterwards internet). I suppose that Esignal doesn't make a difference between US and European customers. So why are there problems in the US and not in Europe?

What's the difference between the european setup and the american setup? If there is no difference than there have to be other factors that cause these problems. Maybe factors that have nothing to do with Esignal.

First define the cause of the problem and only then you can accuse anyone.

Quote from rossmedia:

Over the years I've used several data platforms like all you guys, yet I have never seen an outage like yesterday. I was down more than 3 hours....that is unheard of in one day. Needless to say, my positions suffered.

I called esignal this morn and asked for 1 months credit (192.00) just one month! The guy offered me $10.00, I almost couldn't breathe. They would rather lose thousands over the next few years, than to credit me 1 month.

They said it was a hacker, I said I don't care if you were being hacked by a marsian, just give me a little customer service and I'll stay. He said sorry can't do that.....I shall not return.

S... happens to all of us, when it does I close all positions on my trading platform which has a separate feed or if that is also down I call the broker to take me out of the market. I would have taken the $10 offer and then considered my options, whether to stay or leave the provider. One thing I would not do is take it personally. All the best.

Romik,

I agree, I didn't take it personally because they don't know my person. Purely business. There is company policy and then there is customer support. Ever heard of the customer is always right? Well it's actually true. Even when the customer is totally to blame companies like Sears realized years ago that by not arguing with the customer and just giving the refund the not only keep there business but the business of their children's children.

Maybe sears should start a charting package.:D

I think Wal-mart does that, too. That along with low prices keep me going back. But let's not start a Wal-mart flamefest.

So when your leased car breaks down for a day...do you ask the leasing company to refund your month payment?

So I guess you'll be switching to Qhcarts since it must have 100% uptime?
