I will code your strategy

With all due respect... How can you consider yourself a professional ATS trader if your using tradestation?

IMO, It's not possible to get professional performance with something that's not homegrown and written in "C", "C++" or the like.

This is patently false. I'm aware of several CTA's trading the futures markets with 7 figure accounts, just using TS. It just doesn't have to be complicated. Simple is good.

I have an end of day system I have automated that is coded in VB6. Would C++ be much faster than VB6 given that the main drag is between my program talking to TWS?

What is TWS?

I am a professional trader. By the way, can someone tell me "whats a limit order?" :D :D :D

Hard to resond to certian remarks, I keep contemplating if I should respond at all - but if you read the question it is so illogical you have to ask what is meant

You answered your own question - "the main drag is between my program talking to TWS" - the bottleneck is communication speed not your programming -

Just to make sure what you stated above is true, write some simple processes with time tracking and see how fast they are communicating

I agree that TS is perfectly fine for certain types of system trading - my stuff trades stocks off of 30 minute charts and TS is perfect for this application - as usual - it all depends....

Just wanted to let everyone on ET know that the response so far to my offer has been tremendous! I am always open to helping additional traders, but at the current time I have several paying projects going on. If anyone wishes to have their ideas coded for free, I would still be glad to talk with you and put you "on queue" for when a time comes when my paying jobs are out. Thanks to all who have contacted me thus far.
