Outside the college town of Charlottesville, the entire region (Ablemarle and surrounding counties) is mired in poverty and part of Appalachia -- especially as you proceed west towards the West Virginia border. While Ablemarle and other nearby counties may not be poor as parts of West Virginia - similar issues exist in the rural areas.

These counties in VA near Charlottesville also have a demographic similarity to most counties in West Virginia - most are over 80% white.

I do my best to donate to the truly needy,not some PC crap (inner city urban kids) which is code for black kids only,never mentioned are poor white kids.
