I was also curious about the reticence to spend money on marketing. A new paper ad should seem like pennies when you start with 6 figures.

I am also curious how well you have done in the intervening time.
 
i believe you do have an edge in daytrading. this economy is a very bad time to raise money for your fund. so, i think you have to put it off until 2010. search at google, some company can guide you to start a hedge fund, why don't you contact them?

Go to lunch with the wives of cardiologists and orthodontists. Get invites to their cocktail parties. But if you're already managing 10M, then you already knew that. (My condolences by the way.)
