I want a new Mirus rep.. can I just ask?

Quote from heech:

I don't expect much from my brokers. Just basic competence, availability, and great technology.

I had heard only great things from Mirus, so I setup an account with them this week (clearing thru RCG).

Everyone else raves about Mirus' service, but frankly, my rep sucks. Hard to get hold of via email, can't reach on the phone... made a mistake on my account, lost my funds, doesn't answer my questions.

I just put in $100k, and I don't think of myself as a needy/annoying customer. But I just want someone who's more competent and available. Who should I talk to over there?

At least you got as far as funding the account. In my case, I started with a demo account, then I emailed my rep, saying I'd like to go ahead and open a real account. Never heard back from him, that was about 3 weeks ago.

But in a way that's good, since I found out before giving them my money.

Mirus should be your contact point NOT RCG, just deal with Tony @ Mirus.

I can second Tony as being a good rep. The guy always gets back to me immediately and has been generally very helpful.

And to answer the OP's original question, yes, you should just be able to ask for a different rep (you'd probably want to ask Pat).

Can any body who has an account with RCG explain how the hell to work out the account balance statements if it was funded in Euros?
My head hurts trying to decipher what it is I'm seeing!
