Uh, this is a grown-ups game. If you're fortunate to get in, then paying dues is something you never quite get an "A" in that class.

Better to come back after making your mark in the field/degree chosen, or another field, then you'll have that other essential engredient that no one can teach you - MATURITY.

Allright is not a word.

All right is acceptable, although probably not in this context. Alright, can be used as well.

Also, I contend there should be a comma after "send emails" in your first post. It (send emails) was the second item in a list of three. Perhaps this was the other error you referred to?

Hardrock I am laughing out loud ooops I mean lol

No that was not the error but thank you or pointing out my truly unintentional misuse of a non-word. "Allright" ......what in the world was I thinking.

Hey Daqtrader sorry I guess I assumed you have read some of my other posts. But just to clarify ......

I was joking!!!!

I never truly thought you wanted my name and more importantly...yes I am coming clean here.....I screwed up with the "their" vs "they're" issue in the first place. Now at least I am an honest man.

Finally, regarding the other error:

I believe I should have used "have already been discussed" as opposed to "has" since I am referring back to a plural word "issues". But then again I never professed to be an English major- that was you guys-I just said I had read an article saying college kids can't write worth crap.

wow, to harsh on the acedemic. I found college to be interesting but waste of time if you studied business. I was a "liberal Arts"major.

I read, wrote, and read again. Good stuff, solid foundation in the "Great Books Track". However, I find Acedemic's to be failuers outside the Ivey Towers.

Spelling is my worse nightmare. Due to my ADD and my inversion of letters. However, I never invert numbers....

Anyways, the "Philospher King" is not ment to be a trader.

"give me someone, poor, and hungry" that is what makes a good trader. Sure, depending on the style of trading, academics can play a part.....but before you think....just remember LTCM, Merriweather was the only non-acedemic...

jpomerenke,

Why don't you just go to www.stocktrading.com . you will get all the details of joining Bright trading. I went to the site and found the following requirements:

1 You have to be a professional trader, that is, you must pass the series 7 exam.

2 you have to apply and be interviewed.

3 You must take traing from Bright.

4. You must have some of your own money.

To all the english teachers out there, don't be too hard on me for my grammer mistakes. I have a thin skin.

Ed

BTW, I would have taken issue with 'grammar skills' and used 'grammatical skills'.

But I'm not an English professor either.
