You have a hard time understanding.
Your logic is flawed.
The history of your party is rooted in racism. It’s so ingrained that Libtards like Tony think they can call Black people ‘coons’ and it’s OK.

TODAY, racism is pretty much rejected by both parties and all people...with very few exceptions. Identity politics as well as both Casual and institutional racism is owned by the left. Still.

Your Southern strategy is ridiculous when you consider Barry Goldwater, Nixon/Reagan being hugely popular for the entire country, Thurmond being the ONLY Senator to change parties....
Your logic is for simple minded men.

Is this something a Northern Democrat Senator (and current front runner for Dem nomination for POTUS in 2016) should be saying in the 1980s?
I mean, really, WHO ARE THE RACISTS? It’s not hard to see.

Joe Biden praised a long-time segregationist as a “man of character and courage” on the floor of the U.S. Senate in 1988.
Stennis was a primary backer of The Southern Manifesto, a document crafted in opposition to the Supreme Court’s decision in Brown v. Board of Education.

Not good indeed but praising Robert E Lee is far worse.Lee actually owned slaves and had them brutally beaten and fought to keep them as slaves and Trump and yourself calls him incredible and Trump wants monuments of them to stay up.

Because it once represented southern conservative whites.
Today’s Dems want you to believe that Abraham Lincoln was a Democrat and that the Emancipation Proclamation was NOT opposed by Northern Dems.

LOL.

It’s clear to any non-low IQ member of society which party is the party of racism...both past and present.

You call black People ‘coons’, Tony.
