Everything they use effectively, even at Renaissance, either is undergraduate math and stats or can be matched by it. Sorry guys. Its true. All that high frequency stuff is a game theory back end systemic hardware infrastructure play. Highly complex math just isn't necessary to win finance. I'm not saying some don't use it, and maybe win with it, but they don't need to.

You don't need to understand anit-matter and curvature of space induced by objects of mass in trading. You know where you need that, Cern. And that's where the really smart peops are working, right now. Or whatever the current version of Cern is if that went away while I was sleeping.
