I think I figured out why trading can never work for so many people

Quote from Fractals 'R Us:

I had that experience when Litton Industries had a dispute with the Navy about something.. their stock got hammered. One day I read a newspaper article about how Litton had enough cash to pay off all their debt and expand the business by 30%.. I bought it from single digits up to $20 or so then used the proceeds to fund a business that never made it.. Successes like that can make one think they are above average when it was mostly luck.

That stock Litton Industries run by Roy Ash and Tex Thornton enabled my parents to retire to FL. I too loved that stock! Doubt many here even heard about the army guys who sold their "services" to Ford and then those 2 formed LI. They called them the whiz kids

Mr. Buffett,

Can you explain the contradictory statements you've made? You've stated you were "very wealthy" before you "even started trading commodities". By your own admission you were trading well before you got into RE (pekelo comment).

There isn't a trader on Earth averaging a handle a day in Treasuries. Only a rank newb would make such a ridiculous claim. You sent me a PM with claims about making another handle today -- so why not produce that run here? Take off your name and acct#, of course.

I've nominated you for the Pulitzer Prize in bullshit posts....

you'll be happy to know that you've just won

This guy just hasn't been properly schooled in how to be a good internet poser

what you do is register some other user id's

then when people question you, just sign in under the other name to defend yourself

say "I can vouch for him, I saw him pull money out of the markets daily in our private chat room"

"sorry but we aren't taking new members"

you'll still get found out that way but the charade might last a little longer

Come on, guys, please don't chase him away. This is great short term entertainment during chop/narrow range conditions and EMG is always serving dangerous scary food at Volente's, so I have to stay away from there.

My last post since I assume most of you are wannabees. I tried to share properly. All I got for advice was "lease a seat" I didn't need to ask advice about that!

What I will do is post photos from Europe over next few years to break your balls. It will be obvious what I'm up to. Thanks to the few individuals who sent PM with helpful advice. I truly appreciate it and can take it from here.

Btw anyone catch down move in Bonds today?

Is that so? Good to know how well we're doing. I was pleasantly surprised myself and said so. No wonder Baldwin with his 5 ticks eats your lunch.

I sold some ZN/ZB this week when it was still shooting yes. I caught the move. I did not time it. reasoned the index crazy rally, will drive bond down. but it seems it lags behind. when index shoot, bond shoot too, but after two days, those guys realized the game is over.

I bought some crude yesrday at 89.6. notice a small double bottom
