I was looking at a 15 minute chart of ES and counting the volume and noticed that at a certain interval there was a change in direction. I did this for enough days and in different months to discard any suspicion of coincidence. The turning points were not always steep, but they were there. I guess it works on other symbols too.

Just a hint for all the traders out there. Not divulging the exact volume interval here.

Any secret you got to share?? Just leave a hint, like I did.
 
Big guys' secret: (keep it quiet)

Borrow money from the Fed at 0% and inflate the equity market making new consecutive $100 million profit day records.
 
Hahaha, that's not a secret around here, c'mon.

This is not a bullshit ploy by me to get other traders to reveal their trading methods. The interval I discovered really works.
 
To prove that I ain't bullshitting, according to this method, there will be a turning point in the ES today at the open. It could go either way, but most likely it'll be a short play.
 
What do you mean by "volume interval"?

When you say that I think tick charts, but you specifically mention 15 minute bars.

I wish I had some big secret to share...
 
It could be a tick chart or any type chart for that matter, but that would be more time-consuming.

BTW, are you a Lynx trader?
 
Not sure what you mean, lynx is just a mildly clever screen name, only meaningful to me. So no.

I think I figured out what you meant earlier, watching 15 minute bars while waiting for, some number of contracts (not ticks) to go by.

BTW I have noticed something similar but I was counting by time, not volume, and couldn't quite isolate it well enough to trade it.
