my chart has price bars and volume. I use no indicators or MAs or anything, because they are all hocus pocus crap to me. Only price time and volume are real.
Still if someone is consistently making good money, there is always something to learn from him. It is completely clear that he is not using a magic indicator that makes him successful. However he does have a certain method.
 
me, took the breakout at 14:38, so only managed to catch 4 nq points. I only trade slow patterns so couldn't trade the morning. That is my system at the moment, although ever evolving, as it should be. As long as the equity curve is not going down, I am very satisfied at this stage of my trading career.

So there you have it!

+6....but it took me so many turns to get there, I made squat.:(

I was using the bollinger bands to spot a short reversal that never really arrived. And my fishers were giving me weird signals all day. If I had gone with the 15 min trend it was an easy 60 points.

Are you trading YM? Why did you switch?
 
Yes, I trade YM.
I find it is much easier to trade. Even if one is wrong it fidgets so much it is not hard to save your bacon with a double up and bounce down. Did a lot of that today because I was CONVINCED it would be a nice short.
Sometimes I switch off to other eminis. But I do the best with YM. Go figure?
 
I ended up +6....but traded 20 round turns to get there....
I had one BIG stubborn idiot drawdown and it took me all afternoon scalping to get it back. Oh well.....:)
