My Wife has that cd. I told her it was "As a Man Thinkth" repackaged.

Whatever people can relate to is ok. Whether its a book written 120 years ago or the newest movie.

Constant positive thought is the hardest thing for anyone to achieve.

Irony is its not the results that matter, its only matters how you relate to the results.

You erradicate poverty by bringing riches into the the minds of the poor.

Joab I respect your good intentions as I believe any good natured person in the world would like to rid the world of hunger and poverty.

So we are on the same side of the issue. It's how the issue can be fixed were we disagree.

To say that the US is impervious to the suffering in Africa is simply BS. Can we do more, of course. Can the WHOLE world do more, of course.

When I say the US I'm including Canada and in all seriousness the developed countries of the world.

My issue is : WE (all of us here in North America and developed Europe) waste way too much time on OURSELVES and we look for things to make US happy but the reality is, the ONLY thing that will make us truly happy is making the world a better place and helping our fellow man.

In conclusion:

To me "the secret" dvd's / book embody everything that is wrong with the world right now.

Narcissism, Arrogance and Ignorance

Now ask yourself is that something that we want to feel good about ?

All this new age crap is the same it focuses on SELF that's why they call it SELF help.

The answer is found focusing on OTHERS.... and that my friend is what the Bible, the Tora and the Koran will tell you is the road to happiness and peace.
