I paid for 'the Secret'

You see Paul had to paganize Jesus to make him palatable to the Romans... oh and by the way, Pauline Christianity... a religion based on a guy that never even met Jesus... but he sure knew how to sell him

And here's something else to ponder... who was the first man god born of a virgin on December 25th and sacrificed only to resurrect again?

If you said Jesus... sorry, not even among the first three

What's your point?

It always amazes me the amount of Dogma non believers have.

I always find them the most lost in it.

My point is a pagan myth was woven around Jesus to sell him to the Romans

No wonder Pope Leo X said "It has has served us well, this myth of Christ"

So you believe in Jesus Christ as the Son of GOD ?

You just don't like what man has done with his message. ?

Your entire Religion was modelled by a mad Roman emperor at the council of Nicaea, against the majority of Christian sects Jesus was deified (most Christians saw him just as a wise man) and reicarnation (an early Christian belief) was dropped

Throw in 16000 changes made to the bible by the Greeks when translating from Hebrew and we are left with a dead religion completely divorced from it's founder

But my favourite historical fact is late in the 18th century the church decided to prove the bible as fact using it's own priestly scholars and the new German technique of cross referencing

the result?... the greatest mass exodus of priests in the church's history... disillusioned by the facts they left the church in droves :)

I'm NOT Roman Catholic but my advice to you is to NOT throw the baby out with the bathwater.

GOD allows things to happen for HIS reasons, regardless of our opinions.

There are 2 things I know for sure:

1) There is a God; and

2) None of you are him.

You are wrong on number 2.

There are plenty here....
