One thing that's stuck in my head since the first injured soldiers spoke to the press was one American marine who said he was out there fighting to keep his friends alive, and there is nothing more noble than that, IMO.

More crap. These were Iraqi doctors who by their own admission were only with her for a brief period of time. I give them credit for saving her life, but their comments do not justify the headline. At best, all they could say was she had not been raped when they examined her, right after her injury. But then it's the Guardian, useful for wrapping fish and lining the bottom of bird cages.

She kept firing even after she had several gunshot wounds, finally running out of ammunition, the newspaper said, citing unidentified U.S. officials.

what i really find interesting is that the web site domain for jessica lynch was registered on march 17th 2003. maybe there is a simple explanation......of which i would love to hear!!!!!
