Whats the SMART description of your dream job? That's cool but how about my question?
For the last couple of years, I've been working for a startup and developing trading algorithms for crypto. I worked with technical indicators and developed my own research system and created some successful algorithms. Yet this startup is not paying me much and I want to find a better job. I am interested in Algo trading, but my experience is very unconventional. I have a typical data science stack: Python, TensorFlow, Numpy, etc. How should I approach my job search? I've had some interviews, but unsuccessful. Do I need to learn C++ or make some certifications?
Thank you!
%%NQ used to be my instrument of choice several years ago. But since that time, it has become too...unruly for me, for lack of a better term. It certainly has directionality, but the idea of entering it presently gives me the same feeling as putting my hand in a buzz saw. And so, I'm curious to know the typical size of your initial protective stop, either hard or soft. Not that I plan on trading it again any time soon, but I'd appreciate the context.

So $1,000 per contract? That's a fairly wide stop. What's your time horizon?I trade it with a 50 point stop but that can get hit fairly easily.
