I need a Successfull Seasoned Trading Mentor and will work for free to learn

Quote from yv2008:
hey guys,
I am willing to work till end of January preferably part time mornings. I am currently studying and independently acquiring my series 7(self employed so to say). While i am doing this i would like to improve my existing trading skills regardless of which instruments or exchanges are traded.
I have a good deal of basic technical analysis skills and have traded many markets before with ok/breakeven results. Where can i find someone with a proven track record in need of a trading assistant or such while teaching me to trade with effective strategies that work.
I am not interested in putting up my own capital to trade at the firm i am specifically interested in learning without receiving any profits for this.
Any ideas? Btw im in new york
Thanks,

There is a newbie thread that you can check out. Why don't you keep trying to trade your own account? The longer you stay alive the more lessons you can learn. There are tons of books out there and you can check out Buffet's letters online. Nothing like experience to get you to the level you want to be.

You can always join a different firm. It's hard to get in but it can be done. Just don't expect them to teach you anything. The learning curve is steep and you are the one that has to push the envelope. You sound like you are employed because you wouldn't be able to sign up for the 7 series without being sponsored.

Hope that helps.

i have come to learn that trading is a natural born talent that cannot be taught. what i mean is this: if a trader has an inate ability he can be taught the basics but if he does'nt have that "x factor",he will not be successful over the long run.
