anyway, I thought I'd update my quest for a new router. I ended up getting Cisco Linksys E2000 for about $68. setup was a breeze. took 1 minute. my speed went up from 25mbps/4mbps to 30mbps/6mbps. content for now.
Here is a bit more info for anyone who may have subscribed to this thread:
....... Cisco stated that "Linksys routers being launched this spring will have IPv6 support" and that the "Linksys E4200 router we launched in January will have an [IPv6] firmware upgrade planned for April."
