I made a huge Coffee Score

well I don't know and honestly doesn't really matter, just checking if it's an options market maker or some guy trading futures from the floor...

I had no idea the futures were only traded only on-screen (ICE?), but my buddy commutes from Philly to the NYMEX to make a market in the FOs; he also traded gold options. AFAIK there is still 8-10 guys trading the FOs from the pit.

I haven't a clue whether it was Fs or FOs, but I assume he meant the physical FO pit. I'll ask him when I talk to him this week. In any case, I gain nothing from relating the story. He said he was a buddy from coffee-trading, and I know he traded both the spot and the options at various times in his career. I assume it's options as he stated the guy will now trade upstairs.
