That just proves I've got no business trading this thing until I've rolled my sleeves up and got my hands dirty...
In the meantime, why does Yahoo! Finance indicate that the HKD fluctuates relative to the USD (that's a rhetorical question, kinda- I'll figure it out myself).

Is HSI always less active in February ?
It seems like even since part of January HSI futs have not been acting like normal.
Normal to me being since November of 2004. It seems like volatility has substantially decreased. The "New Year" holidays were in there in the beginning to middle of Feb. but I'd of thought that it would have kicked back into gear by now.
Much more chop.
(had my worst day ever for HSI recently too and my method relies on volatility)

My system's being kicked in the head at the moment too. I trade longer term trends, but all this chop is given false signals resulting in being stopped out. I'm hoping 2005 is not a repeat of 2000's volatility or the no mans land during the middle of last year. Guess I've just got to polish my money management skills!
