I like Oanda but...

what abvout phone support any improvement there ? can you trade over the phone?

withdrawal fees are outrageous especially if you are outside the US.

See my Rating under brokers here in ET. (A check for USA clients once a month is fee free)

...but the leverage thing. Its only 50 to one! Is there some other firm that might have the same decent and reliable qualities as Oanda, with higher leverages?
You can blow up just fine with 50 to 1 -- you don't need more loaded guns than those 50 pointed at your head.

You have no idea what you're talking about.

Oanda used to be good.

But I stopped using them because for years they simply REFUSED to update their platform or service!!

How many times over the past few years have we asked for a simple 10/15min charting? Until today Oanda simple REFUSED to give us 10/15min charts.

And they still charge you US$30 and more when wiring money back to your bank account.

Rating for newcomers to try out spot FX : 5 stars
Rating for professionals to trade FX : 0 stars (go IB trade the futures or ideal pro)

IB on the other hand...LISTENS and IMPROVE. We even managed to talk IB into lowering commissions across the board for Ideal Pro ($5 to $2.5).

Now if only I can talk Steve into selling his dog....

Check out the game account, it holds the upcoming changes for FXTrade. You will find 15 min. charts, a new layout, a filter when generating history, and more.

I wondered about the $30 charge myself, maybe it's an incentive to keep money withdrawal requests to a minimum.

One of the largest brokers does not, you Marine Pussy...Get you head out of the Jar!

:)

Interactive Brokers...(Open E-cry, just recently started)

By the way Brokers with ACH capabilities usually are fee free. IB has that too..

FINALLY 15 mins charts! Many have been ranting for the past 2 years without official response. Good to see they finally decide to upgrade!
