I do remember the old Stock Traders Almanac back in the 1980s, can't remember who started it, think it was done by a "spread trader"? He was on FNN few times a month which I believe CNBC bought out? Something like that. It was six or 7 [seven] months ,one trade per year; OCT -APR.

OF course that did not work to well in 2018, but it was profitable in2018, S&P 500/SPY+dividends. I used to study mutual funds much more+ still had a fun read on one this year; Fidelity ContraFund , long tech stocks.......... + singled out GE= as not buying that one LOL. I like ETFs, can close 'em out before 4;00EST/3 Central Time
